1. The service
Foreman is inbound automated call-answering software for plumbing businesses. It identifies itself as an automated receptionist, collects a caller's name, confirmed callback number, service address, concise problem, and urgency, and produces a callback summary for the business.
The callback-first plan does not transfer calls, dispatch service, book appointments, quote prices, verify identity, promise arrival times, or guarantee that a callback becomes a job. Only a clearly disclosed unsolicited sales pitch is intended to be declined. Ambiguous callers are preserved for review.
2. Eligibility and business use
The service is intended for authorized representatives of US plumbing businesses who can enter a binding agreement and control or obtain permission to configure the relevant phone line. It is not offered for consumer household use, emergency dispatch, or medical, legal, financial, or other regulated professional advice.
3. Customer responsibilities
A subscribing business is responsible for:
- providing accurate business and phone configuration;
- maintaining authority to use and forward its phone number;
- reviewing callback summaries and returning calls;
- giving callers any legally required notice about automation, recording, transcription, or data use;
- keeping account and support contacts current;
- testing configuration changes before relying on them;
- using the service only for lawful business purposes.
4. Activation and compatibility
Activation depends on phone-line, carrier, forwarding, country, and provider compatibility. Foreman may require test calls and may decline or delay activation when the setup cannot be operated safely. A business must follow the documented steps for changing or removing forwarding when service ends.
5. Acceptable use
The service may not be used to violate law, impersonate a person, mislead callers about automation, harass or discriminate, collect payment-card or highly sensitive information by voice, interfere with provider networks, evade consent requirements, overload the service, or reverse engineer security controls.
Foreman may suspend unsafe or unlawful use when reasonably necessary to protect callers, customers, providers, or the service.
6. Emergency and safety limitations
Foreman is not an emergency service and does not guarantee that a call will be answered, understood, delivered, or returned. The business must maintain its own emergency language and alternate contact procedures. Callers facing immediate danger should contact the appropriate local emergency service or utility.
7. Subscription, renewal, and usage
The Foreman launch plan is $149 per month and renews monthly until canceled. Included usage, taxes, payment timing, and any fair-use limits will be displayed before payment. Foreman will not automatically charge an overage or a different subscription amount unless the customer accepts the applicable terms.
A browser redirect does not prove payment. Subscription status is determined from the payment provider's verified records.
8. Cancellation and refunds
A customer may cancel before the next monthly renewal by emailing support@calltheforeman.com. Cancellation must include a safe phone-routing change so calls are not silently dropped. The first monthly charge is refundable when Foreman cannot activate a supported setup under the conditions in the refund policy. Activated monthly service is otherwise non-refundable, and cancellation stops future renewal.
9. Availability and changes
Telephony, carrier, AI, messaging, internet, and third-party provider failures can affect availability or accuracy. Foreman may update the service to improve safety, compatibility, or performance. Material subscription changes will be communicated before they take effect when required.
10. Intellectual property
Foreman and its software, designs, and documentation remain the property of the operator and licensors. Customers retain rights in their business information. They grant the limited permission needed to process that information and provide the service.
11. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is and without a promise that every call will be correctly understood, classified, summarized, delivered, or converted into work. Foreman disclaims implied warranties to the extent they may legally be disclaimed.
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. The operator's total liability arising from the service will not exceed the subscription fees paid by the customer during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or to fraud or willful misconduct.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Wyoming law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, a party must give the other party written notice and 30 days to attempt an informal resolution. Claims that cannot be resolved will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Sheridan County, Wyoming, unless applicable law requires another forum.
